Cartridge Seal — The Detail That Saves You Downtime
The cartridge mechanical seal is the standout maintenance feature on this pump. Seal replacement doesn't require disassembly of the pump body. Pull the cartridge, swap it, reinstall. No special tools, no re-alignment procedure.
On a production floor where downtime is expensive, that matters. A conventional seal change can take hours. On the Twin NG, a technician turns it around fast — and the cartridge can be rebuilt, not just thrown away.
Wangen's fast-X-change® technology extends the same logic to the spindle screws: replacement without re-synchronizing the shafts. Self-centering flange housing means no coupling realignment after service. The whole pump is designed so maintenance doesn't cost you a production run.
Gaseous & Volatile Products — Not a Problem
The Twin NG handles volatile and gaseous products that would stall or damage other pump types. Where air inclusions cause problems for rotary piston pumps, the Twin NG keeps moving — it can cope with a significant proportion of entrained air without losing prime or requiring manual venting.
That translates directly to less maintenance intervention and fewer feed losses during batch changes or container swaps.
