We have designed a Safety Pivot Gate for upstairs transfer of pallets to platforms. Not only does the Pivot Gate offer a convenient method of transfering pallets between multiple levels, it offers a high level of safety between personnel and forklift, and reducing exposure to falling significantly.

The gate is rotated to the open position towards the forklift when loading the pallet, providing a barrier between the forklift and personnel. After the forklift is finished bringing up pallets, the gate then swivels closed to the forklift in order to become safe for workers to grab the pallet with a pallet jack.

Useful in food plants where materials need to be transferred to the platform for storage or processing.

Elevated pallet transfer is one of the highest-risk tasks in a food plant. Any time a mezzanine or platform edge is opened to receive a load, workers are exposed to fall hazards, and personnel share space with an operating forklift.
