Admix

Admix Mixing Equipment

Sanitary mixing equipment built exclusively for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing. We specify, install, and service Admix across dressings, sauce, dairy, and beverage lines throughout Southern California.

Why Admix

Admix has been building hygienic mixing equipment since 1989. That's the whole company — no general-purpose industrial line being adapted for food use. Every product is designed from the ground up to meet sanitary requirements: all stainless steel, 3-A certified, and built to USDA and AG Canada standards.

Their portfolio covers the full mixing spectrum: high shear in-tank dispersers, inline emulsifiers, wet mills, powder induction and dispersion systems, and low-speed batch agitators. Equipment scales from lab units through 100 HP production systems — which matters when you're developing a formulation. You can run pilot trials on the same mixing geometry you'll run in production, so results transfer to the line instead of changing on you at full volume.

For emulsion-sensitive products — dressings, sauces, dairy-based systems — that scale-up consistency is what makes Admix worth specifying. We've seen formulations that held in the lab fall apart in production because the mixing geometry changed. With Admix, it doesn't have to.

Equipment We Work With

Rotosolver® — High shear in-tank disperser. Patented 3-A compliant mix head. Wets out and disperses powders completely, handles volumes up to 10,000 gallons. Thousands of installations in food and beverage plants worldwide.

RotoMAXX II — Low shear, high torque right-angle agitator for large-volume batch mixing where gentle agitation is needed. All stainless steel construction, 3-A compliant.

Fastfeed® — Inline powder induction and dispersion system. Inducts powder at controlled feed rates up to 450 lbs/min, applies high shear inline so existing tanks act as holding vessels — no in-tank high shear mixer required. 100% dispersion of difficult powders guaranteed.

DynaShear® — Inline high shear mixer for continuous processing. Blends, dissolves, disperses, and emulsifies both miscible and immiscible fluids. Used for particle size reduction and producing shelf-stable emulsions.

Boston Shearmill™ — Wet mill and homogenizer for inline continuous processing. Tight rotor-stator clearances deliver consistent particle size reduction and stable emulsion production run to run.

OptiFeed™ — Atmospheric powder feed system. Introduces dry ingredients directly into a liquid stream for faster wet-out and more consistent dispersion than manual addition. Handles up to 200 lbs/min and viscosities up to 2,500 cps.

Benchmix® — Lab-scale mixer using interchangeable Rotosolver or Rotostat heads. Handles up to 20 liters. Scale-up geometry matches production equipment — so what works in the lab holds up on the line.
